Abu Dhabi’s police force has become the first in the world to induct the Nissan GT-R as a police car.

The 485bhp sports car has been acquired by the force to check crime in the city - including street patrols to enforce speed limits. The GT-R holds the record for the fastest acceleration time for a four-seater production car, being able to sprint from 0-100kph in 3.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 300+ kph.

The Nissan GT-R is however not the fastest police car in the Abu Dhabi police’s garage - that title is held by their recently inducted F999, which is said to be capable of hitting 400kph.

The F999 was revealed last month ahead of the first Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix.

This is totally AWESOME! When is Dubai getting these or something similar? Better be Quick or else be left behind in a cloud of smoke & dust!
