Mastretta MXT to be launched at the British International Motor Show this month will be the first ever sportscar designed and built in completely in Mexico!

The sculpted sports coupé is a light-weight two-seater that weighs in at just 900kilogrammes and is targeted at an audience looking for a car under the £40,000 (AED300,000) mark. Power is derived from the 2.0-litre turbocharged Duratec engine developing a healthy 240 horsepower that pushes the it on to 100kmph from rest in less than 5.0secs.

The semi-monocoque chassis of the Mexican sportscar features aircraft style technology and is construcetd using bonded aluminium. Body panels have been made from fibreglass to keep the weight to a minimum and the air-conditioned interior is leather-trimmed.
