Jaguar Middle East has
expanded their XK line-up in the region with the addition of XKR
Portfolio model. The model was first introduced in 2004 and had been
exclusive to the US market, but from 2008, Jaguar is making the XKR
Portfolio available to its global markets.
Like the XK on which it
is based, the super-charged XKR Portfolio is available in both coupe
and soft-top convertible body styles. Power is derived from a
4.2-litre V8 putting out 420 horsepower. The top speed is
electronically controlled and maxes at 250km/h with 4.9secs to go
from a complete stop to 100km/h. One of the main addition to the XKR
Portfolio is that of a new high-performance braking system with 400mm
front discs and 350mm rear discs – the largest ever fitted to a
production Jaguar.
