Nissan Pushes for Growth in 2009 with GT-R and More
by Udit Bhandari on Tuesday, 18 November 2008

Arabian Automobiles, the exclusive dealer for Nissan, Infiniti and Renault vehicles in Dubai has set sail for an expansion drive in 2009. The company which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year is expecting sales in FY2008 to finish at 40,000 units for all the three brands, lead by Nissan. Betting big on 2009 and refuting fears of an economic slowdown impacting the Middle East auto industry, Arabian Automobiles will launch the Nissan GT-R in 1st quarter of 2009. The GT-R has won rave reviews from the international auto press as well as enthusiasts and its launch in the Middle East will give a big boost to Nissan’s image in the region. The company has started to accept pre-orders for the GT-R, so if you have always fancied this technological masterpiece, it’s time to get in line, quick.

Currently, Arabian Automobiles is rolling out the 2009 Nissan’s SUV range, which includes eight models. Nissan will also be one of the largest exhibitors at the upcoming International Automobile Show in Sharjah where it will preview of the 2009 Xterra SUV with a special off-road package. The popular Infiniti FX models including the recently launched 5.0 litre V8 FX50 will also be on display at the show. Arabian Automobiles is participating in the International Auto Show for the ninth straight year. You can catch Nissan’s beauties at Stand No. 750 in Hall 2.
